About
More than 35 years in reporting, audit, controlling and corporate finance – between routine and adventure. A thousand details and the bigger picture. Experience and dauntlessness.
I am a German public auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer), but my business is not statutory audit – it is advisory work, focused on reporting and especially group reporting. Beyond that, I help wherever the issue involves accounting rules, ERP and FP&A systems, the analysis of large data volumes, tracing the root cause of errors in systems and processes, and finance in general.
What sets me apart is a strong analytical streak and the urge to truly understand things rather than just tick them off. I think independently, I am flexible, and I take on problems others shy away from. I am very comfortable with numbers – not least because I studied mathematics for two years before my professional career.
At 60, I bring the composure that comes from many solved problems – and the curiosity it takes to solve new ones.
